BioWelcome to the journal of Mike and Chloe. In here, you will find the story of Amaranth by Mike. I will be managing it. I'll post one chapter every week or so. So far, Mike has finished Part 1 of Book 1 and is currently writing Part 2, so once Part 1 is posted, it may be farther between entries.
Summary:
Amaranth is a story on many levels. On the most basic level, it's a story about a young man named Owyn McKell, who forsakes a comfortable existance in his homeland for the chance to follow Leilah, the woman he loves. Over the course of their journeys, he is plunged into the middle of a great civil war, and must decide between the cause he fights for and the love he swore to protect. But neither Owyn nor Leilah are entirely normal--they are the last and most powerful of the two breeds of superhumans: Gunmen and Psiones, ultimate warriors and telepaths, and both have been pre-ordained to end the war and save their people. But the cost of victory will be terrible, and they will have to make a final choice that will decide the fate of the world.
